Effective Date: July 3, 2026 | Last Updated: July 3, 2026
Welcome to NodeBattery. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website vonblay.com (the “Site”), including any purchases made through the Site. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. General
NodeBattery (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a brand specializing in replacement batteries and custom power solutions for laptops, power tools, medical devices, smart home appliances, and other battery-powered equipment. The terms “you” and “your” refer to users and customers of our Site. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Please check this page periodically.
2. Eligibility
By using this Site, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- You will not use our products for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
- You understand that batteries are electrical components and will follow all safety instructions provided.
3. Products & Pricing
3.1 Product Information
We strive to display our products accurately, including specifications, capacity ratings, dimensions, and compatibility details. However, product appearance and packaging may vary slightly from photos. All product descriptions, specifications, and images are for illustrative purposes. Capacity ratings (mAh/Wh) are nominal values and actual performance may vary depending on device power consumption, operating temperature, and usage patterns.
3.2 Compatibility
IMPORTANT — Compatibility Disclaimer: Our batteries are third-party replacement products and are not manufactured by or affiliated with the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, Makita, DeWalt, or others. Brand names and model numbers are used for compatibility identification purposes only. While we conduct extensive compatibility testing, it is your responsibility to verify that the battery you purchase matches your device’s exact model and battery part number before ordering. We are not liable for damage caused by installing an incompatible battery. If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us before purchasing.
3.3 Pricing
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price, even after order confirmation. If your payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund.
3.4 Availability
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and to limit quantities. We may, at our discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, household, or order.
4. Orders & Payment
4.1 Order Acceptance
Your placement of an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including but not limited to product unavailability, payment issues, suspected fraud, or errors in pricing or product information. An order confirmation email does not signify our acceptance of your order; it is a confirmation of receipt.
4.2 Payment
We accept payments via credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information.
5. Shipping & Delivery
5.1 Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be extended.
5.2 Shipping Methods & Timeframes
We offer various shipping options, with delivery timeframes displayed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are calculated from the ship date and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.
5.3 Lithium Battery Shipping
IMPORTANT — Lithium Battery Transport Regulations: All our batteries are shipped in compliance with applicable dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR) and UN 38.3 testing standards. Due to lithium battery transport restrictions, delivery to certain remote regions, military addresses (APO/FPO), or P.O. Boxes may not be available. Some countries restrict or prohibit the import of lithium batteries by air. If shipping restrictions prevent delivery to your location, we will notify you and issue a full refund. Delivery timeframes for battery shipments may be longer than standard parcels due to mandatory ground/sea transport requirements on certain routes.
5.4 International Shipping
For international orders, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We cover any applicable customs duties and import taxes — the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay. Please check your local regulations before ordering, especially regarding lithium battery import restrictions.
5.5 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once they are in the carrier’s possession. Please consider adding shipping insurance for high-value orders.
6. Returns & Refunds
6.1 Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received. For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of batteries that have been installed, used, or whose packaging/seals have been opened or tampered with, as we cannot verify their safety or condition after use.
6.2 Return Process
To initiate a return, contact us at info@vonblay.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product).
6.3 Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
7. Product Warranty
7.1 Warranty Coverage
All NodeBattery products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Covered defects include: premature capacity degradation below 60% of rated capacity within the warranty period, failure to charge or hold a charge under normal conditions, and physical defects in the battery casing or connectors that affect safe operation.
7.2 Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does NOT cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Damage caused by using an incompatible or incorrect charger.
- Physical damage from drops, impacts, water exposure, or extreme temperatures.
- Normal capacity degradation from regular charge/discharge cycles (capacity naturally decreases over time and usage).
- Batteries that have been opened, modified, or repaired by unauthorized parties.
- Damage to the host device caused by improper battery installation or incompatible battery use.
- Cosmetic wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or label fading.
7.3 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@vonblay.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos/video if applicable. We may require the defective battery to be returned for inspection. If the claim is approved, we will, at our option, repair, replace, or refund the product. The warranty period is not extended or renewed by repair or replacement.
8. Battery Safety & Proper Use
SAFETY WARNING — Lithium-Ion Battery Risks: Lithium-ion batteries contain flammable electrolytes and must be handled with care. Improper handling may result in fire, explosion, chemical burns, or toxic fume release. By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided.
8.1 Safe Use Guidelines
You agree to:
- Only use the charger specified by your device manufacturer that is compatible with the battery’s voltage and chemistry.
